Hnns Youth Tournament Rules

1.    CLUB MUST HAVE ALL PLAYERS REGISTERED WITH THE LEAGUE OR FEDERATION IT BELONGS TO.

 

2.    CLUB MUST HAVE WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM ITS LEAGUE OR ASSOCIATION IN ORDER TO PARTICI­PATE IN THE TOURNAMENT.

 

3.    CLUB MAY NOT DRESS A PLAYER WHO IS SUSPENDED BY THE LEAGUE OR FEDERATION THE CLUB BE­LONGS TO.

 

4.    CLUB CANNOT PLAY WITHOUT NUMBERS ON THE BACK OF THEIRJERSEYS, AND IT MUST ALSO TAKE STRICT CARE OF THE DRESS CODE OF ITS PLAYERS.

 

5.    CLUB MUST ARRIVE ON TIME AND BE PRESENT AT THE OPENING CEREMONY INCLUDING PLAYERS COACHES AND MANAGERS. IF NOT, THE CLUB WILL BE FINED $250, ONLY EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES WILL BE DISCUSSED BY THE SAVEZ GOVERNING BOARD.

 

6.    CLUB THAT COMES TO THE TOURNAMENT MUST HAVE INSURANCE FOR ITS PLAYERS, COACHES, MANAGERS AND ANYONE ELSE LISTED ON GAME SHEETS.

 

7.    A TEAM IS LIMITED TO A MAX OF 3 GUEST PLAYERS. IN ORDER FOR THIS THEY MUST HAVE PERMIS­SION FROM THE PLAYERS HOME CLUB AND FROM THE LOCAL ASSOCIATION THEY BELONG TO.

 

8.    TEAM REGISTRATION IS $350, THIS REGISTRATION WILL INCREASE EVERY 5 YEARS STARTING AS OF 2015. PRICE INCREASE WILL BE DISCUSSED AT AGM AND VOTED ON BY HNNS MEMBERS.

 

9.    TEAMS MUST REGISTER MINIMUM 4 WEEKS BEFORE TOURNAMENT BY EMAIL OR STANDARD MAIL. REGISTRATION FEE MUST BE DELIVERED TO THE HOST MINIMUM 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT.

 

10.    CANCELLATION DATE IS 3 WEEKS BEFORE TOURNAMENT, OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE YOUR REGIS­TRATION FEE AND CLUB CAN RECEIVE A $500 FINE. IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY OR

UNFORSEEN SITUATION WITH PROOF TO THE HNNS BOARD, FINES OR MONIES OWING WILL BE DETER­MINED.

 

11.    ANY TEAM CAUGHT CHEATING Will BE IMMEDIATELY EXPELLED FROM THE TOURNAMENT AND THEIR CLUB Will BE PENALIZED FINANCIALLY AS WELL.

 

12.    TEAM LISTED FIRST ON THE SCHEDULE IS DEEMED THE HOME TEAM AND MUST PROVIDE 2 GAME BALLS, AND DECIDES WHAT COLOUR UNIFORM THEY WANT TO WEAR.

 

13.    All PROTESTS AND CHECKING OF BOOKS IS TO BE DONE BEFORE THE START OF THE GAME. COACH OR MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE TO NOTIFY REFEREE AND FIELD DELEGATE.

 

14.    TEAMS THAT DO NOT HAVE PLAYER ID CARDS AT THE GAMES WILL HAVE 5 MINUTES TO PRODUCE THEM, OTHERWISE IT WILL BE CALLED A FORFEIT WITH A 3-0 LOSS.

 

15.    ANY AGE GROUP WITH 3 OR LESS TEAMS WILL BE CANCELLED.

HOWEVER THOSE TEAMS WILL HAVE THE OPTION TO MOVE UP IN AGE GROUP PLAY BUT CAN NOT MOVE DOWN IN AGE GROUP.

DISCIPLINARY REGULATIONS FOR PLAYERS OF THE FEDERATION TOURNAMENT 

23.1 A player who is expelled from a game due to discipline and/or foul play does not have the right to play at a determined number of games as decided by the Disciplinary Committee. 

 

23.2 If a player gets into a fight with an opposition player from the opponents club, or hits, swears or in any way injures the dignity of a Referee, will be expelled from the Tournament. 

 

23.3 A club shall lose all of its earned points if a club plays a player who has been suspended or penal­ized by the League or Federation in which the club competes. 

 

23.4 Any player receiving either a red or yellow card shall be reported to the League or Federation in v-lhich they normally play for further disciplinary action.

 

23.5 The penalty for a yellow card is $25.00 and for a red card is $50.00. The penalized Club v-lill be billed for all fines incurred during the tournament weekend. Fines are due before the commencement of the Annual General Meeting Any player expelled by a red card may not dress for the next game. (Ap­proved October 28, 2006) 

 

23.6 A Club that does not show up to a game on time will be given a 15 minute grace period. After the grace period elapses, the Club loses the game by default with a result of 1-0 in favour of the opponent. In addition the forfeiting Club will be subject to a $500 fine. Only in extreme situations may the fine be overturned. (Approved October 28th 2006)
